- Mientras Carlos viaja a Madrid en busca de su mejor amigo, Javier, para que esté presente en su boda, Lucía, su prometida, atropella por accidente a León, y de este encuentro nacerá "el amor a primera vista", aunque Lucía no sospecha que él está por casarse en una semana con Ana, la que hasta ese momento era "el amor de su vida"
- Lucía and Carlos are about to be married, but when Carlos' best friend doesn't respond to the wedding invitation, Carlos travels from Mexico City to Madrid to track him down. In the frenzied wedding preparations in Mexico City, Lucía is distracted and crashes into León, who is equally distracted by his upcoming nuptials. Now Lucía and Carlos, with only a week until "death do us part", have to figure out who really is the love of their lives
