- Summary
- One of the most pressing questions facing the Corps of Discovery was the practical concern of what to bring on their drive to the Pacific. Takes the viewer 200 years into the past to join the Lewis and Clark Expedition and examine their stunning bill of lading, which included such items as 193 pounds of dehydrated soup and an experimental iron boat frame. From day-to-day survival to the scientific experiments of the crew, the viewer discovers how technology, craftsmanship, improvisation, and sheer determination were the keys to the success of the Expedition. Includes performance tests of modern replicas of the tools used on this famous journey
