Summary
"It all started with a dog and a gopher hole. Now, you'd think all you'd find in a gopher hole would be a gopher, but you'd be wrong. There'd also be silver. Lots of it. Enough to build a mine. And that's what John "Minnie" Moore did: he built a mine. But then he sold his mine to an Englishman named Henry Miller, who married a woman named Annie, and the two of them lived in a huge mansion that Henry built for his wife. And that's how their home became known as the Millers' Minnie Moore Mine Mansion. Probably. The Millers were very rich because of their silver mine -- that is, until Henry died and Annie got hoodwinked and lost everything except for the mansion. So she raised pigs, as some are wont to do. But the town where Henry Miller built the Minnie Moore Mine Mansion didn't allow people to raise pigs. You may be wondering what Annie did -- of course you are. Well, she moves the Millers' Minnie Moore Mine Mansion four miles down the road outside of town . . . and this is the true story of how she did it." --Book jacket
