Summary
Colonial Period, Atlantic Coastal South: history is all around us. It is, however, frequently difficult to notice from interstate highways or from cruise ships. There is so little time to discover where explorers first landed and where pirates hid treasure. Disk 2 will take you on an explorers journey to find relics from the past. Some of the roads we take date back over 300 years. Join Vickie for another exciting adventure of Bicycling through History. Disk 2 continues to follow the trails of George Washington. He visited Barbados in 1751. He also visited Charleston, South Carolina. Our bicycling travels will take us to other locations, which were significant well before the birth of the first President. Enjoy the sounds of nature along with period music as we go in search of historical landmarks
