Summary
Josh Clayton's mother killed a man, then leaves Josh to dispose of the body. His guilt wars with his loyalty to his mother, but that pressure, along with the responsibility of taking care of his brothers and sisters and making it through high school wears him down. He suddenly forms a relationship with a cheerleader, who tries to understand him and makes him see that he must take a stand against his mother
