- Summary
- "Jonathan Kent has his own ideas about Superman's role in the world. When his father leaves Earth, the son of Superman and Lois Lane steps into his father's large boots and dons the symbol of hope embodying everything the Man of Steel stands for -- and then some. The new Superman strives to be a more proactive champion for real change and social justice in the world. In the process, he makes some powerful enemies. When Jon gets in the middle of an international incident, he also places himself in the crosshairs of Henry Bendix, tyrannical ruler of the island nation of Gamorra, and his super-powered terrorist agents. Luckily, Jon has some help in the form of a new Gamorran friend, Jay Nakamura, a journalist from the underground news source known as "The Truth," who helps open Jon's eyes to evils in the world that could be more powerful than the new Man of Steel." -- page [4] of cover
