Summary
In "The Island, " as the city begins its post-election healing process, Matty takes advantage of the relative lull and accepts an invite to embed with the small group of American soldiers holding Staten Island down. But he'll learn first-hand what a ceasefire can do to bored troops with too much time on their hands! In "War Powers, " Matty, back from his misadventure in Staten Island, finds Parco Delgado in office as provisional governor of the City of New York, and Matty's first task under the Delgado regime involves tracking down the source of one of the DMZ's greatest urban legends
