Summary
"Something is rotten in Gotham City. The petty art-thief known as Grotesque is back in town, but his M.O. has totally changed. Instead of just stealing art, now Grotesque is murdering victims in "artistic" ways that more than live up to his name. Batgirl is determined that not one more person will lose their life to his reign of terror. Unfortunately, a tussle with Grotesque and his electric stun rod has damaged the implant that allows Barbara Gordon to walk...and to be Batgirl! Even worse, Barbara's memory--the one skill she counts on more than any other--seems to be failing her. But Gordons never give up. With renewed determination and a new costume, Batgirl sets out to find out the truth about Grotesque and why he suddenly turned into a murderer. Now Batgirl must solve the mystery before her father, Commissioner Gordon, ends up in the killer's crosshairs. But every moment she's out being Batgirl instead of resting is doing possibly irreparable harm. Can Barbara crack the case...and still be Batgirl?" -- Page [4] of cover
